Patterns are your most basic kind of doodling. You just fill an empty sheet of whatever’s in front of you with some random lines. No fancy thoughts or meanings, just let your mind go blank and scribble… It’s a good exercise too! And G-d knows, we all need a little bit of that this time of year…
So, here’s a first assignment for you, boys and girls. Make a few squares, small ones, let’s say – 2″x 2″ and doodle away. Fill it up goooood! The results send to doodlage@doodlage.com and we’ll give them royal treatment they deserve here on www.doodlage.com

Bonus: for the digitally inclined – this is how to make Escher-style seamless patterns called TESSELLATIONS
And once again, DON’T BE SHY!!! Send us your doodles!!!!
