just monkeying around…

Turns out, doodling on the tablecloths and bed linens are the newest craze!
I’m not suggesting you pull out your Sharpie pen while sitting at somebody’s rehearsal dinner, or start scribbling on the pillowcase while you’re getting all hot and heavy in your girlfriend’s bedroom. But the trend certainly exists. See for yourselves:

These original textiles from Polish Aze Designs will definitely become Pièce de résistance at any dinner party and distract your guests from your not-so-artful cooking skills:

And just in case your bed feels lonely, here are some rem-sleep bed linens along the same premise:

Oksana Grivina’s tablecloth offers more in terms of delicacies and color, but stays true to the High Art of Doodling:

And here’s advice on how to make one of those yourself, with the help of entire family.

    Hello Silvia,

I love them too, wish they’d be available for sale around here. Still, good for inspiration as is ;-)

Indeed the tablecloths are beautiful. My mom also recently bought a bed-sheet with two pillows and a night-sky textured blanket doodled on it.

I suppose it’s not quite the same thing, but I always get a kick out of going to the Macaroni Grill and similar places that use paper table clothes and leave crayons so you can doodle while waiting for dessert. And the best part is there are no lines to worry about coloring outside of.

i find it amusing to read about people doodling on there sheets as 3 years ago when I was pregnant with my son i was in a car wreck and had to sit in a hospital room for over 8hours no tv to watch. But i had clean white sheets and a pen I wish i would have had the camera cuz well when I was done the sheets where not plain white anymore.
