… but there’s a lot of doodling!!! I’m serious, doodling is so hot nowadays, that it shows up everywhere, including printed ads, billboards and even tv commercials. It’s hip, it’s fun and apparently – it works! If you check out the Ads of the World site, you’ll find a bunch of good examples:
Here’s one: Belgian waffles opticians opted (get it?) for doodled ads that depict what difference glasses might make in how your image is perceived by others:

This is how an advertising agency in Jakarta, Indonesia decided to demonstrate how badly we all need Aspirin by showing what’s going on in our poor little brains at work, in traffic and at home (respectively). *meditating* Happy place, happy place…

Refreshing Mentos ads are offering “to put something better in your mouth” with a help of doodled characters:

On more serious note, famous Saatchi & Saatchi ad agency used doodles to fight hidden violence in Netherlands:

Jeep went all the way and animated these adorable kiddoodles into a very cute tv ad:

    Midleah,

That means it’s working… There was another one with burns on paper, I didn’t have a heart to post it…

Excellent and varied collection of pictures. A joy to look at some; others were more visceral.

    Good work

Welcome to Doodlage. I believe you’re our 200th community member ;-)

Those doodles are very sad… but definitely attention-grabbing, which is the whole point of advertising, right?
