No, not those…
But apparently, “one of the Netherlands´ most promising young talents” Levi van Veluw has been expressing himself by doodling on his own face, taking pictures of his_sulky_looking_self and gained considerable critical acclaim for his efforts.

Ok, ok, so he’s done some other stuff to his face too,
like gluing rocks onto it:

Covering it with tape, sticking pencils up his nose… no, really, sticking pencils up his nose:

and even creating whole landscapes on his own scalp:

What can I say? Good for him! As long as there’s doodling involved, I’m happy ![]()

Hee hee…. hmmm… interesting.
March 28, 2008 @ 11:57 amLOL!
I have to admit that some of those are very interesting. Though he must have a lot of extra time on his hands. :o)
March 28, 2008 @ 1:53 pmWow! Talk about self-loathing! Great work though… Isn’t his body going to absorb all the inks and chemicals? Seems like a slow toxic poisoning to me! Desperate measures lead to desperate actions, I guess?
March 28, 2008 @ 10:58 pmCool Man Cool.
March 29, 2008 @ 3:57 pmYou, Bill, are an idiot. It would take a hell of a lot of the types of paint/ink he’s MOST LIKELY using (like a couple gallons) to actually cause any poising to his brain/heart/whatever.
It could have adverse effects on his skin, but nothing lethal.
Next, I would probably describe his use of his body more along the lines of self appreciation. He used his own body, not someone else’s. He is obviously worthy of this.
March 29, 2008 @ 4:19 pmsome good thinking going on
March 29, 2008 @ 5:49 pmYou see, here is a guy who sees things differently. His imagination transfered to his art. While subjectively it doesn’t appeal to my aesthetic thoughts, he at least makes attempts at originality.
March 29, 2008 @ 11:06 pmThat in itself, is a most admirable quality.
Just think how much “traffic” the guy has generated!
What most are looking out for.
Take good care and get creative. Get as much joy as you can every day. The Baldchemist
Just a little ps to Diamond Digger; I would have to think that the time on his hands is the time he gives to his art.His passion not his boredom.
March 29, 2008 @ 11:09 pmdude, photoshop = so much easier
April 1, 2008 @ 3:04 amThis is very interesting, It shows their interest in having this type of facial expressions. Generally we see in the disco’s changing their facial getups and they want to show the different look at that time.
