Scribbling letters is like the fundamental part of doodling, isn’t it? Who can honestly say that they never in their entire doodling career traced their own name over and over again, making the letters round like balloons, or sharp and edgy? Let’s see how the 26 Muses of the English Alphabet inspired other people among us:
Really simple, classical I might say, but nontheless entertaining and elegant - Bembo’s Zoo Alphabet. Flash site that transforms the letters into words and then the letters from those words into zoo animals.

Another fun interactive site called Crumple ABC gives you a loooooooooooooooooooong row of letters that start moving and changing when you click on them. Visual feast, for sure.

Graphic Designer Yann Legendre doodled a cute font that was used for the Chicago’s Summer 2007 Event - The Art of Play:

And last but not least, my own meddling in the pool of alphabet interpretations. I once drew all 26 species, kiddie-style, and often use them for presents for my daughters’ friends:
