Swirls, spirals, twirly-thingamajigs. No matter how you call them - they’re some of my main doodling obsessions. See, other people may be perfectly happy with nice and smooth straight lines, but not me. I need my swirls. My lines have to turn and turn around until they stop in the middle of the cozy tight cocoon of a swirl.

Pretty! Are those first examples some of your swirl doodles? They remind me of the Mexico rocks, so I’m guessing they are

I looked through some of my drawings and picked details with swirls (of which there were a ton, as I said, it’s one of my “signature” doodling moves

Oh yes, doodling has to be curly. Curls and eyes. And tears. And in my case, apparenly, calenders. You’ve inspired me to put some of my doodles on my blog:
