First of all, let me share you a few wonderful blogs and websites that mentioned Doodlage lately (for which we are forever grateful, of course), and who, in turn are some of my usual sources of creative inspiration:
Our friend Alex Beltechi posted absolutely amazing tutorial on PSDtuts.com, showing how to create an artistic hand-doodled poster and mentioned us as a good source of inspiration:

Our yesterday’s guest-doodler LaurenMarie from CreativeCurio.com wrote an excellent article about boosting one’s creativity and mentioned us as well. I have to say, that Lauren has been a source of many other wonderful “finds” in the worldwideweb of doodling and some of these gems I’ve already shared with you, and few others are still “in the works”:

Australian designer Jacob Cass from justcreativedesign.com mentioned us among 31 New Design Blogs of 2008. Thank you Jacob, and it’s great to be in such wonderful company. Jacob himself is not a stranger to doodling. He can take a bottle-full (literally) of doodles and turn them into a great, eye-catching design:

Doodlage has also been featured in an article by Jacci Howard Bear in the Desktop Publishing section of About.com. The author is not a stranger to doodling herself, just check out her 2009 Doodle Calendar, that she’s kindly offering for PDF download. Thank you, Jacci!

The great source that I discovered (thanks to Lauren, again) - IllustrationClass.com is an almost endless source of creative exercises and ideas that are sure to make an expert-doodler out of anybody. Check out what came out when I tried Von’s “Doodle Dog” exercise:

And now, don’t just sit here. Go, grab a scrap of paper, pen/pencil, pair of scissors and start doodling ![]()

haha! AWESOME! I love your cutout doodles from Von’s exercise! Quite a sexy little leg on the right one. She looks like a bellydancer with her veil and hip scarf.
I left a comment about it last week, I think, but you were also mentioned on About.com
I see your subscribers are slowly climbing. Yay! I’m tellin’ ya, with as much eye candy as you give us almost every day, RaShell, I’m shocked you don’t have several thousand subscribers. Seriously. I’m sure you will some day (you’ll just have to be “discovered” as they say here in Cali), so don’t forget the little guys

Yeah, there’s something belly-dancing in her, you’re right! She’s definitely a cockette, that’s for sure
September 23, 2008 @ 10:29 amAlso, thanks for reminding me, I added about.com
Thank you for the feature! And yes, this site truly is an undiscovered gem of the web
