Ok, so this is how it works in my head (hey, I’m offering exclusive, yet free admission into my thought process here!):I was looking at Free People Clothing Boutique Blog …which is an absolute eye candy all by itself, AND it’s interactive and seemingly endless in it’s visual presentation… and that’s even BEFORE you look at content!
… and I saw a link to another fashion Blog called Cherry Blossom Girl (which is lovely, in French and has doodles all over the place)…
… and the whole thing reminded me of another Blog, The DoodleBook, which also has cool, simple black-and-white doodled background and tons of awesome doodles:
… which in turn made me think of this collection (or should I say – pile?) of Sketchy Icons from resourcepile.com:
… arriving at our final destination – one of my favorite blogs for discovering amazing books – Book By Its Cover:
…Where I found these two books that I really-really-really-really want: Book 1 – Simply Pattern (by various artists)
Book 2 – Over and Over: A Catalog of Hand-Drawn Patterns by Michael Perry.

wow!! all these sites look awesome..
and speaking of those books.. i agree. I feel like getting my hand thru the screen and grab those books. (hehe)
oh.. btw, thanks Rashell, your mail has arrived. took 10 days to travel from US to Malaysia, which was quite fast..
oh i love what you did with the envelope.. simple but awesome.
September 24, 2008 @ 8:04 pmIsn’t it fun to just wander through the web sometimes? I love the Free People site. Did you know it changes approx. every quarter? I think it corresponds with their latest catalog design, which is cool. So be sure to keep going back!

I’m glad my little parcel arrived quickly and safely. Enjoy
Hi Lauren,
It sure is fun. I like a lot of things about Free People. Unfortunately, their main attraction, clothes are not made for my kind of figure
But the site is awesome, blog is fun to look at and their whole style and spirit I admire greatly.
