In her own words, Nikki Farquharson is left-handed, Scottish, lives in Sunny London. She loves words, lines, patterns, shapes and colours. And we love Nikki. You know why? Cause she doodles!!!
Don’t Stop Me:

If this is nerdy, Nikki, I want to be a nerd:

That’s right, don’t be lazy, Nikki, keep on doodling!

Also, for some color inspiration, stop by Nikki’s other project – Random Got Beautiful.

I like those last couple with the models! I bet those would look really cool if they were animated, like in a commercial or something.
Woooo! Almost 700 subscribers! Finally! Doodlage is the best kept secret in the blogosphere imho.
November 13, 2008 @ 12:10 pmHi Lauren,
I really like the Nerd doodle. You can’t see at this size, but the real thing is just incredibly detailed. It’s like a Mona Lisa of doodling
Hehe, “best kept secret”? Can’t say that I’d like to keep it this way, but it’s good to hear
I am trying to stay active on all fronts (etsy, here, not to mention work and home)… And there’s that Twitter thing… Oy, I just wish people would keep their breakfast details to themselves. No offense…
November 13, 2008 @ 12:26 pmI really like her stuff too! All of it, but especially her work with the models. It’s like a really hip, modern take on stuff that was cool in the 1960′s. And that’s a style I’ve always loved! (Think The Beetles, Yellow Submarine

Glad you liked it.
November 14, 2008 @ 12:35 pmYou’re right, it does look like a spin on the 60s free-willing style, but still looks fresh
Awesome, and inspiring! Always love the contrast of color and the B&W of a doodle…
Getting my pencils out a lot more, since I found your amazing blog … I am advertising it madly
November 16, 2008 @ 7:52 pmwow, these are INCREDIBLE! what an inspiring artist.
November 17, 2008 @ 9:33 am@ Shona,
Oh, thank you so much, you’re too kind. Keep coming back, I have plenty of doodles to share

November 17, 2008 @ 10:02 amHi Jess,
I’m glad you liked it
That Nerd doodle (if you look at the close up of it at Nikki’s site) is so unbelievably detailed and intricate, I just can’t stop raving about it
