Wednesday Etsy Finds -Lilla Jizo

Lilla Jizo is Swedish for Little Jizo. Jizo is a helper and protector in Japanese Buddhism, pictured as a wandering monk and often with childlike appearance. Traditionally, he is the helper and protector of women, children and travelers. Petra chose the name Lilla Jizo because? she has a strong personal connection to this being, and he often appears in? her art, as you will notice if you visit? her shop:

Petra’s childlike creatures end up being little bookmarks, tiny original drawings, sculptures and on occasion even wearable art!

Every month Petra is planning to have a new exhibition of new drawings/paintings on her website. And her blog is lovely too :)
