You should look for more art cars. There are some really great and oddball creations out there. This will look like a mess if the pen washes off in the rain though it sure must have taken ages to finish it.
April 3, 2008 @ 10:03 pmThis is so cool! but I have to agree with Laura, if it rains it might wash away the ink. A true masterpiece nonetheless.
April 3, 2008 @ 11:03 pmI have a Sharpie. Somebody bring a Lambo, we’ll have a party.
April 4, 2008 @ 8:42 amLaura and noelevz,
I’m pretty sure I read somewhere that after the doodling was done they covered the whole thing with a layer of some kind of protective coating. So all 300+ hours of work won’t be lost, don’t you worry
LeO, dream on
April 4, 2008 @ 3:24 pmHmmmm. I’ve got a huge stash of Sharpies. Too bad my husband sold his old white Civic. I could have made that baby WORTH selling! LOL
April 5, 2008 @ 1:35 pmOh! I love it, I love it, I love it! I could do that!
April 7, 2008 @ 10:56 amWhy, Oh why would you do this?
April 7, 2008 @ 1:12 pmWell Clayton, it’s awesome that’s why.
April 7, 2008 @ 2:11 pmDo you seriously think that someone would go to all that trouble and then worry that “duh, I wonder what I’ll do if it rains?’. FFS get real.
To my eye it looks as though they reduced the car to an aluminium body and then etched the patterns in, then coated it over to give a gloss finish.
However you look at it, it’s still just a penis extension for some dumb wanker.
April 7, 2008 @ 4:59 pmMilander is just jealous of such a work of art. That is amazing. A great way to individualize. I wish I could do that with my car.
April 7, 2008 @ 6:43 pmUm, im pretty sure if you have a lambo you wont be drivign it in the rain. so it wouldnt matter.
April 7, 2008 @ 7:53 pmOh wow this has really inspired me. I am thinking about getting a smart car. And i am a pretty well established artist. I could pull something like this off. It will just take a lot of time. But i think it is amazingly well done.
April 7, 2008 @ 9:27 pmI have a gallery from an Art Car show here in MPLS.
Some creative folks. Not quite this gem, but still good.

April 7, 2008 @ 9:41 pmROFL HE JUST DREW THE DOODLES IN PHOTOSHOP ON A WHITE LAMBO LMFAOAOAOAOA SO OBVIOUS!!!!1!12
April 8, 2008 @ 12:06 amYou are correct. The art was done by hand with marker and then clear coated. Will not be effected by any weather. The art was done by Jona Cerwinske for Prestige Imports (a car dealer). The car is a show car, not for daily driving.
April 8, 2008 @ 12:47 amif this is “art”, which is more valuable, the ink or the canvas? I would like to shake the hand of the person who has the guts to allow someone else to paint on their very expensive car.
I know some people that drive exotic cars, call themselves “liberated” people but I bet you that lambo that none of them have the brass to let an artist at it. Awesome work.
In my opinion, I’d say that that is actual paint done with a set of striping brushes. In fact, look at this photo: http://www.flickr.com/photos/vodcars/1981313516/in/set-72157603104900070/
April 8, 2008 @ 1:34 amcertainly painted and not sharpie
wow, that’s pretty. i’d love to do that.
April 8, 2008 @ 6:40 ambut i’m pretty sure it was made by someone who loves to draw. it’s an awfully complicated and time-consuming project to be for someone who just wants a penis extension. it’d be a lot less work to just buy a bigger car.
“Um, im pretty sure if you have a lambo you wont be drivign it in the rain. so it wouldnt matter.”
Haha, why wouldn’t you drive it in the rain? They’re not going to fall apart. Engineering does go into it, y’know. They still look good in the rain. You’d have to be stupid not to.
April 8, 2008 @ 6:56 am(Haha, at least here in the UK. You’d never get to drive it otherwise.)
if someone pulled up in that anywhere near me id spit on it for wasting a lambo
April 8, 2008 @ 9:32 amThat car just screams: “ATTENTION WHORE!!”
April 8, 2008 @ 9:39 amOMG LOOKS AWFUL!
April 8, 2008 @ 9:59 amSharpies are PERMANENT markers. Given the time it must have taken to draw all over that car, the ink was dry after he was drawing a foot ahead. Rain won’t mess it up.
All the rest of you haters are the ones that need washing. Wash off the hate!
April 8, 2008 @ 10:19 amI’d pimp it.
April 8, 2008 @ 11:08 amThis a-lambageeni, she looka ridiculoso! Ah-yi-yi omagoodness! What a the fucking douche abagga!
April 8, 2008 @ 2:36 pmOMG WOW WTF????????!!!!!!!!!!! IWOOT
April 8, 2008 @ 3:27 pmNo words can describe how awesome that car is. It seems as though that art will continue to flourish if the artist finds the right canvas.
By the way, you haters need to open up.
April 8, 2008 @ 4:43 pmi did the same thing to my neighbors camry, AND THEY THREW ME IN JAIL!!! so unfair
April 8, 2008 @ 5:44 pmIt looks cool up close but from far away its too much
April 8, 2008 @ 5:57 pmThat is SWEET!!!!!! I want that car!!!!
April 8, 2008 @ 6:21 pmI personally like the silver on the window.
April 8, 2008 @ 6:50 pmthat’s…vandalism? And jail is where you tend to go for that, unfortunately.
That car is sick.
April 8, 2008 @ 7:50 pmI’m calling bullshit on this one. No way is that all sharpie.
Have any of you tried writing/drawing a large area in sharpie? The ink streaks unless it is on something absorbent like paper.
April 8, 2008 @ 9:55 pmAnyone who pays that much money on a vehicle that runs on gasoline is just paying more money to pollute the environment. Cars stink.
April 8, 2008 @ 10:11 pmme want… I have to have this car…
April 9, 2008 @ 7:56 ami love lamborghini (diablo)
April 9, 2008 @ 7:11 pmThese really beautiful photos
i refuse to believe that is sharpie.
April 9, 2008 @ 9:21 pmand its hideous if you ask me.
a little over the top. too busy.
Here’s one that I found when I was on vacation in St. Augustine, Florida.
http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2287/2401903489_ff36917fe7_b.jpg
April 9, 2008 @ 11:26 pmI think this would definitely look even better if it had some sort of theme that could be seen from a distance…
Like to go with the Egyptian look, you might could see some Large Egyptian-looking signs or characters from far off, made out of the cool figures you can see closer up. Or maybe have the figures make a sphinx out of the car or something…I don’t know.
Its still friggin awesome.
Btw its a show car, people, probably not going to drive in the rain, and even if it was, the coating around it can handle it…
AND if you have ever tried to clean permanent marker, it doesn’t really smudge very easily unless you have alcohol or something.
and it most certainly is not some penis extension – if it is, then all show cars are just penis extensions. Douchebag.
April 10, 2008 @ 7:44 pmDon’t care if it is middle eastern, continental, european, australian, american or antarctican….it maybe one or all of those things and still can be called just AWESOME…kudos to the body and soul this came out of…some achievements are a reward in themselves….this is one of those…kudos to the creator…let it wash away if it will…though how the artist may let that happen is beyond my imagination….i bet the whole exercise was worth it for the duration of time that it was there for us to see, revere, admire and feel inspired from…too cool!
April 10, 2008 @ 10:02 pmYeah, even if you dislike the guy or feel he has to much time to waste, you should at least give him credit – it looks pretty good! And it’s probably more likely that the artist simply wished to try something new and try his skills in a new medium, rather than doing it simply for prosterity…
April 11, 2008 @ 2:23 amWow! Now this is a modern marvel. This one takes the cake in my book everyone. I don’t like cars but i’ll make a exception this time… Ups to the artist and the car owner.
April 11, 2008 @ 10:03 pm-Dave
http://www.pilotstx.com
DANG! I looked at it at first i thought it was just the original paint job then i scrolled up and saw it was drawn on by sharpie im like HOLY CRAP nice man must have taken ages to do!
April 12, 2008 @ 5:39 pmThat will come right off with some isopropol alcohol.
April 12, 2008 @ 8:07 pm1. Awesome art. I really respect it and would kill to have any car looking like it. I like the sides better than the front, personally.
April 13, 2008 @ 10:13 am2. Not Sharpie. See brushstrokes? Yeah. Any artist willing to spend THAT much time knows what media to use so it won’t wash off. BTW, Sharpie (and other “permanent” markers DO wash off with just water over time.
3. Just because it’s an expensive car doesn’t mean people won’t drive it in the rain. You still have to be able to get around when it’s raining, don’t you?
4. Yeah, I agree, there should be credit given here.
Oh, and to the person who claims it’s vandalism, if you do it to your OWN PROPERTY or ALLOW someone to do it to your property, it is NOT vandalism. That would only be vandalism if the car was somehow public property or if its owner had not consented to the car being beautified.
April 13, 2008 @ 10:15 am….because alcohol rains from the sky?
April 13, 2008 @ 10:54 amWOW!!! Thats truly some GREAT artwork, whoever did it excellent work my friend!
http://jay1971jay.stumbleupon.com/
April 13, 2008 @ 2:56 pmHoly. Crap.
April 14, 2008 @ 1:58 amThat is AWESOME.
I did that to a pair of white shoes……
……but that’s a god damn lambo…..
…….
………daaaaaaaaaaamn……
It looks rather detailed…but I just don’t like it.
April 14, 2008 @ 7:39 amIt woulda looked better if they just left it yellow. It’s a neat concept and all but the designs is waaay too complicated and busy to be effective. It just looks horendous unless you’re about one foot away, otherwise it’s a tacky grey and white blur. Nice concept although I must say poorly executed.
April 14, 2008 @ 7:55 amthose are some cool pics. ADD MORE!!!!!!!!!!! LOL
April 15, 2008 @ 10:56 amBAD…A.S.S.!!!!!!
April 15, 2008 @ 2:14 pmuhm, this person used a silver sharpie too… look at the second to last picture, close up of the emblem/logo, there are silver dots on top of the black sharpie
April 15, 2008 @ 9:52 pmWOW ! That’s very AWESOME !!
April 16, 2008 @ 5:08 pmLukas #16 is wrong. It is a wedge shaped sharpie pressed down then swiped sideways and lifted that creates the broken line that looks similar to brush strokes. Just because he used sharpie doesn’t mean he only used a single type of sharpie with a rounded tip. He is an artist after all. Do you really think they would paint this, get lots of publicity and then lie and say they used a sharpie? And it is the license plate “prestige” that confirms that yes, it is indeed a penis extension, show car or not. Why earn respect and admiration when you can buy it with a really expensive environmentally harmful sharpie car instead? But the artist is very talented and innovative. Cool!
April 16, 2008 @ 9:06 pmTo Nate-
Am I the only one the recognized the boondock saints reference?
“I’ll have a coke.”
April 16, 2008 @ 11:31 pmItrs absolutely QU-EEER!
April 21, 2008 @ 12:05 pmThat is one completely ruined lambo.
April 23, 2008 @ 8:59 amWow. That’s amazing.
To whoever said it was photoshopped:
No it’s not. Not everything on the ‘net is.
Kudos and a half to whoever did this, and to everyone that’s left an intelligent, well thought out, nice comment =]
xCBx
May 1, 2008 @ 7:52 pmif it WAS done with sharpie, they most likely applied a clear coat after, perserving it.
May 4, 2008 @ 4:05 pmThe kind of person that would deface a car that way is the same type that is stupid enough to mutilate their bodies with tattoos. They also are probably graffiti vandals, too.
May 6, 2008 @ 7:50 pmI think a lot of you are missing the point. 1. Whoever painted or drew this is obviously very talented and deserves credit if its to your taste or not. 2. I think its a guillardo, not a diablo (if it was a guillardo spyder then it would be truly majestic). 3. Who cares about the medium used to paint with, appreciate art for arts sake, only the jealous, less talented get so pedantic about such things.4. Girls drive expensive cars as well so enough about penises(especially this one as is a small car with a very short bonnet,if you want a penis extension car get an e-type jag with worked over brakes suspension for the same price)and at least you won’t look like a footballer.
May 11, 2008 @ 4:25 ampeople, that’s a plastic model (i.e. not a real lambo).
May 25, 2008 @ 3:36 amITS BEAUTIFU CAR !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
June 29, 2008 @ 9:31 amsome body needs a new hobby
July 11, 2008 @ 5:53 pmyuckie
July 11, 2008 @ 5:53 pmFUGLY!!
July 11, 2008 @ 5:54 pmSomebodies got alot of time on thier hands!
July 17, 2008 @ 3:14 pmOk. So im live in Miami an i saw the car with my own eyes. Its incredible!! No its NOT PHOTOSHOPED sorry its really drawn on. I know the owner of the car i have sat in it… its a Beautiful piece of art… an the driver is HOTT!!
July 19, 2008 @ 9:59 pmSharpie on a car WILL wash off in the rain. That’s not a might-it will, unless you do something to protect it. One of my friends used to drive a white car-right before he got rid of it, he let us draw all over it with Sharpie. It was gone the next rain fall.
I’d be inclined to agree with the person who said it was painted on-some of the feathering in the designs would be near impossible to do with a Sharpie, as they’re too bulky and blunt. All the same, it’s an awesome piece of art.
September 5, 2008 @ 1:25 pmWow. That must have taken a very long time
September 9, 2008 @ 8:42 amthough long time were taken to create that, i personally don’t think that is cool…sorry.
November 5, 2008 @ 11:41 amIf you read the article on Flikr it says that it took a total of two weeks with a Sharpie and after they finished it with Sharpie, they added layers of clear coat paint to protect it. Rain is no longer an issue. As for the airbrush comment, no, you can clearly see the imperfections in the art… a clear sign that it’s been hand drawn as opposed to taping off and airbrushing the design on.
November 8, 2008 @ 4:34 pmAir brush would be impossible anyway, simply because of fine lines. This is absolutely wicked! I love the thing!
November 13, 2008 @ 9:10 pmThat is Timbamand’s son’s car. He got it for him for his 16th Birthday. It was on MTV.
December 14, 2008 @ 8:41 amDamn… I’d say get a life/hobby, but obviously he can afford a Lambo AND create beautiful works of art… kudos to the guy!
December 19, 2008 @ 7:33 pmdude, even if that was airbrushed, that would still be amzing for the design. i don’t get why evrybodys saying that this is horrible.
December 27, 2008 @ 3:08 amit would suck if the pen slipped.
December 31, 2008 @ 9:53 amWow, it sounds like the people complaining have no life.
I could care less, it’s a Lambo.
I want one either way.
I’m pretty sure anyone would take it if offered to them.
:]
January 27, 2009 @ 7:31 pmthis is a vinyl that a shop applied the car was on display at the wpb supercar show
January 30, 2009 @ 2:24 pmIt’s a glue-together model car.
February 18, 2009 @ 5:26 pmOH… MY… GOD…!!!
That’s hideous; it looks like a bad dream!
The drawing is great *sui generis*, but applied to a Lambo is just more than kitsch! Sorry…
It reminds me the easter egg decorations:
February 19, 2009 @ 5:51 amhttp://www.flickr.com/photos/tanyazivkovic/2259224144/
rain wouldn’t bother it…they put a couple layers of clearcoat on it after the sharpie markers
February 23, 2009 @ 5:11 pmIt looks like somebody ran over a zebra. Terrible

July 6, 2009 @ 7:15 pmI will be the one that states the obvious…as much work as im sure was put into this car and as much as a appreciate creativity…its ugly. Hands down. I am a doodler as well but this is an eyesore. [no troll promise]

October 7, 2009 @ 11:10 amThis looks like my school notebooks, if my school notebooks were quite a bit bigger and cost several hundred thousand dollars. Seriously though, I want my car to look like this.
October 20, 2009 @ 7:51 pmWow, beaners ruin everything. Who the f**k would let that happen to their nice Lambo? It’s like they left that car in East Los Angeles and it got raped by a bunch of illegals who think their artists.
March 5, 2010 @ 4:19 amif i had a sharpie i would draw me a lambo
April 10, 2010 @ 11:01 pmI think this will be a great idea to try this on old cars. It will look good and in the same time make more value of the car and obviously you can even keep the car proudly for few more days. Hmm and a plastic coating is must. big hands for this artwork.
September 1, 2010 @ 8:14 amSimilarly to tattoo’s, I’m not a huge fan of this. Whilst I can appreciate the amount of time it must have taken and the quality of the execution of it all, I personally just feel that it’s defacing an already stunning machine.
As has been suggested, perhaps jazzing up older cars would be an option, however, this is almost graffiti in it’s own way and not something I’d like to see rolled out onto many other cars!
March 24, 2011 @ 4:02 am
