I love your blog. We are starting with a business making personalized chocolates and one of the things we are looking at is chocolate business cards. We are also considering chocolate invitations cards, so, I found this post very interesting. I will have to look into the price of a mold, such as you are using.

Whilst on face value I would say that it’s a crazy idea to hand out edible cards as, like you said, how will people get in contact?

Thinking about it a little more though, what better way is there to make yourself stand out and be remembered than to hand people food as a means of getting in touch! Some of the examples above are innovative, creative and personal, something which so many other business cards fail to be.

A particular favourite of mine is the Beef Jerky ‘card’ as it is so particular to the Adventure Training theme as something soldiers might actually have when in combat. Even down to the more simplistic Bombay Bakery which is perhaps a little less radical, it still promotes the business in a unique way that will be remembered.

Similarly to tattoo’s, I’m not a huge fan of this. Whilst I can appreciate the amount of time it must have taken and the quality of the execution of it all, I personally just feel that it’s defacing an already stunning machine.

As has been suggested, perhaps jazzing up older cars would be an option, however, this is almost graffiti in it’s own way and not something I’d like to see rolled out onto many other cars!

“Too much time on his hands”

Do people realize how absolutely RUDE that is to say? How nasty and mean it is? Why not just say ‘what a useless waste of time’ – because that’s really what you’re saying. No, really, it is. Think about it, and maybe check yourself before you insult the next person.

No one has ‘too much time’, we all get the same number of hours a day. Kudos to the artists who ‘waste’ theirs and give us really cool and beautiful things to look at. And it takes a special kind of artist to put so much pride and effort into temporary art. We could all learn something from that, I think.

I think this will be a great idea to try this on old cars. It will look good and in the same time make more value of the car and obviously you can even keep the car proudly for few more days. Hmm and a plastic coating is must. big hands for this artwork.
